The Zeppelin LZ 8 was a German civilian rigid airship, constructed for DELAG– German Airship Transport Company. First flight was on 30 March 1911. LZ 8 was damaged beyond repair after it was caught by a strong crosswind while being walked out of its hangar on 16 May 1911.
